Export a collection

Download your filtered collection from Archiving as CSV or custom text for spreadsheets, local records, and external tools.

Before you start

Use collection export when you need a local copy of owned card records from Archiving. Export works on the collection items that match the current search, filters, sort, and grouping.

The export only includes your own collection. If no search or filters are active, Deckonomicon exports every collection item in your account.

Choose a format

CSV is the default format. Use it for spreadsheets, local records, and tools that can read comma-separated files.

Custom text exports one line per collection item using a custom line format. Use custom text when you want a compact list or a layout that matches another tool.

Export formats

Custom	Plain text lists	Requires a custom line format. The default `${quantity} ${name} (${set}) ${collector_number}` exports quantity, card name, set code, and collector number.

Custom text tokens

Use braces to mark the end of a token: ${quantity}x ${name} reads or writes 4x Lightning Bolt. Prefixes such as x${quantity} work too. Short aliases such as ${q} and legacy formats such as $q $n and optional $set? still work; $quantityx is an unknown token.

Put ? inside braces for an optional field, such as ${set?}. ${name}? instead adds a literal question mark. Use $$ for one literal dollar sign and $${name} for the literal text ${name}. Unknown names and malformed placeholders are rejected.

For imports, separate variable-length values with spaces or punctuation. Braces delimit the tokens in the format, not the values in the file. Quantity and name are required for imports; exports may select fewer fields. Neither quantity nor name can be optional when included.

For custom exports, enter a custom line format using tokens. Put ? inside the braces of a token when that field should be omitted if the value is empty, such as ${p?} or ${acquired_at?}.

Set codes are exported in uppercase. Dates and date-times are exported in Deckonomicon's stored format.

Export the file

Use the collection export dialog from Archiving.

Open Archiving.
Search or apply filters if you only want part of the collection.
Select Export.
Choose CSV or Custom.
For Custom, enter the custom line format.
Select Export.

Result

Deckonomicon downloads a file named with the export date. CSV exports use .csv; custom text exports use .txt.

The export reflects the current matching collection item count shown in the dialog. Clear search and filters before exporting if you want a full collection file.
