How playgroups work
Use playgroups to define the people who can share match records, duels, and long-term table history.

Definition
A playgroup is a roster of Deckonomicon players. Chronicles records use playgroups to know which players can appear in the same records, which opponents can be challenged to duels, and which matches belong together.
A player may belong to more than one playgroup. Use separate playgroups when records should stay separated, such as a local Commander table and a testing group.
Membership
The playgroup admin creates the group and invites players by username in Playgroups. Invited players appear in Pending Invitations until they accept or decline.
Accepted members can be selected in match records and challenged to duels. Pending invitations do not count as active members for match or duel setup.
Create and manage a playgroup
Manage playgroups from Playgroups, which is also linked from Profile.
- Open Playgroups.
- Select Create a New Playgroup.
- Enter a Playgroup name and optional Playgroup description.
- Select Create.
- Use Invite a player to send invitations by username.
- Use the roster controls to remove members or cancel pending invitations when needed.
Result
The playgroup becomes available in Chronicles records. You can record matches for that playgroup and start duels against accepted members.
